Dimensional Letters Installation Guide

Dimensional Letters are available in three main material types: Metal Letters & Logos, Acrylic Letters & Logos, and PVC Letters & Logos. Common installation methods include Stud Mounting, Double-Sided Tape Mounting, and Silicone Adhesive Mounting.

Stud Mounting

Stud mounting uses threaded rods installed on the back of each dimensional letter and secured into pre-drilled wall holes. This method provides a clean, professional appearance with strong and reliable support, making it suitable for metal, acrylic, and other dimensional letters on both indoor and outdoor walls. For larger or heavier letters, apply silicone adhesive to the back of each letter for added support and improved long-term security after curing.

Double-Sided Tape Mounting

Double-sided tape mounting is a simple and convenient installation method for lightweight dimensional letters. It is best suited for smooth, clean, flat surfaces such as glass, metal, acrylic, tile, and painted walls.
Important: For best adhesion, make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or oil before installation. This method is not recommended for rough, uneven, dusty, or porous surfaces, or for large and heavy letters. For heavier letters or outdoor installations, stud mounting is recommended for better long-term security.

Silicone Adhesive Mounting

Silicone adhesive mounting is a clean and flexible installation method for dimensional letters, especially when drilling is not preferred or the mounting surface is not suitable for double-sided tape. It can be used on many smooth or slightly textured surfaces, including painted walls, metal, glass, acrylic, tile, and stone.

Important: Make sure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, or loose material before installation. Apply the silicone adhesive evenly to the back of each letter and hold the letters in position until the adhesive begins to set. Temporary tape may be used to keep the letters aligned during curing. This method is generally recommended for small to medium-sized letters. For large, heavy, or exterior letters exposed to strong wind loads, stud mounting is recommended for greater long-term security.
